The GB Sales Story

George Boje, Jr.

1925 - 1994

The original company called, “George Boje, Manufacturers Representative” was formed by George Boje, Jr. in 1975 in the Kansas City suburb of Overland Park, Kansas.

George Boje came from St. Louis, Mo and worked in the energy utility industry for Moloney Electric (later Central Moloney) before striking out on his own to form his own manufacturer representative business known as “George Boje, Manufacturers Representative”. His first product lines included Transformers, Cable in Conduit, Cable, Buss fittings, and Distribution connectors.

George Boje, III began working for his dad in 1981 taking on the responsibilities for inside sales. The younger George Boje took over the business in 1994 and named it “GB Sales, LLC” after his father passed away and has continued to serve his customers in the tradition of service and integrity that his father started. George relocated his father’s office and presently operates in a business park environment surrounded by quite residential neighborhoods with easy access to bustling Metcalf Avenue where he is only miles from many of his customers.

GB Sales continues to serve many of the customers that were originally served by the senior Boje while enlisting new clients and expanding into today’s most highly sought after product lines. The company remains as GB Sales and continues to offer the finest products available at competitive prices.
